Simple Ceremony
A simple ceremony is a beautiful and intimate way to celebrate your marriage. With your two witnesses present, you’ll each declare your intent and consent to marry, and then be joyfully pronounced as a married couple. If you’d like, you can also exchange rings as part of the ceremony.
To make it official, you’ll need a valid Marriage License (issued by your municipality and valid for 90 days). All of the paperwork will be securely completed and recorded, and your marriage will be entered into the official register.
My fee: ~ $250 + hst
Traditional Weddings
Traditional ceremonies can be as intimate or as elaborate as you wish—ranging from a classic gathering of friends and family to a wedding rich with cultural customs and time-honoured traditions. These occasions often involve more planning and detail than a simple ceremony, such as shaping the vows you’ll share, selecting meaningful music and readings, or including spiritual or cultural elements that reflect your values.
I’ll meet with you—usually once or twice—to learn more about your story, your journey together, and the vision you have for your day. From there, I’ll help weave those threads into a ceremony that feels both personal and timeless.
My fee range: $350 – $500* + hst
*The fee range varies based on the level of personalization in the ceremony.
The Rehearsal
Many couples like to have a full rehearsal of the ceremony with the wedding party in the days leading up to the wedding, so everything flows smoothly on the big day.
Officiants are often asked to attend the rehearsal to run everyone through the flow of the ceremony, working through timing, positioning, and choreography of the processional, parent/loved-one hand-off’s, and the recessional.
My fee range: $125 – $200 + hst
Renewal of Vows
Renewing of vows can be for any number of reasons, and to celebrate with a purpose. Typically associated with milestone anniversaries, a renewal of vows can also mark other milestones, such as retirement or grandchildren. Perhaps you have turned over a new leaf and your lives have emerged from times of hardship and you want to acknowledge a renewed promise to share life’s joy together.
Whatever the reason, a renewal of vows is to be celebrated with purpose.
My fees: $400 + hst
Naming Ceremonies
Naming ceremonies are as personal as they are varied. Most often, a naming ceremony is conducted for a newborn, to welcome the child into the family, while acknowledging siblings, grandparents, and other close friends and relatives.
Or perhaps you want to name your new farm or sailboat – and that can be just as joyous – as you gather with close friends and family to celebrate a new chapter in your lives!
My fee range: $200 – $300 + hst
Celebration of Life
A Celebration of Life provides an occasion to remember our loved ones and to share those memories in a way that highlights and honours the unique life lived.
A Celebration of Life should honour the Soul contract fulfilled, and the sacred passage of one’s Spirit returning home to eternal peace and light.
My fee: $300 – $400* + hst
